A atomicturtle Golden Pleskian Feb 7, 2007 #4 FUSE wasnt put into the kernel until around 2.6.17 (I think). The CentOS/RHEL 4 kernels are based on 2.6.9.

A atomicturtle Golden Pleskian Feb 7, 2007 #6 Clean what, the kernel? Im not even going to touch that one Read the kernel docs if you want to get into it. Personally I install kernels one way, by creating my own rpms.
