• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

I have several websites registered on Godaddy.

Can I use the same "Hosts Entry" for all domains?

I'm trying to do as following. Lets say I have 2 sites: mainsite.com, secondsite.com

In godaddy I have added 2 hosts entry, ns1.mainsite.com and ns2.mainsite.com
And after that I set nameservers for mainsite.com; ns1.mainsite.com and ns2.mainsite.com

And then in PLESK I have added;
mainsite.com NS ns1.mainsite.com
mainsite.com NS ns2.mainsite.com
ns1.mainsite.com A 123.123.123.123
ns2.mainsite.com A 123.123.123.123

These settings are ok for mainsite.com

For secondsite.com how can I use ns1.mainsite.com and ns2.mainsite.com?

Thanks

At the domain registrar you will change the nameservers for secondsite.com to ns1.mainsite.com and ns2.mainsite.com.

In Plesk you will add these two NS records to secondsite.com:

secondsite.com NS ns1.mainsite.com
secondsite.com NS ns2.mainsite.com

That should allow you to use ns1.mainsite.com and ns2.mainsite.com for secondsite.com.
