  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hard Disk Quota exceeded, and not stopping

I’ve initially created one account with 500 Mb.

Later I’ve changed both disk size and hard disk quota to 50 Mb.

Now the user has 100 Mb on one mailbox, and it’s getting bigger.

The domain is reported as problem; however the mailbox continues to receive e-mails.
I’ve also tried to put files through FTP and it works :(

Without disabling the domain, how can I stop the users from exceeding their limits? (not receiving more mail, nor put files on site)

Many thanks in advance!

...and it grows....

One other account that I’ve set to 300 Mb (was 500Mb) now has 380 :(

Anybody else with the same problem?

Switch to cPanel. Plesk only emails a warning when quota is exceeded. This is something that has been requested for a long long time now, but does not seem to be on "the list" of things to add in. Too busy breaking existing features, I suppose.
I imagine that part of the reason they haven't developed it is because disk space with Plesk is calculated during the nightly crons, as opposed to "on the fly". Meaning, if you upload a 10mb file, Plesk CP won't show that 10mb extra usage in the stats page until after the daily has been run.
