  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Help Desk Bug

When commenting a Plesk Help Desk support ticket, I received a bounced email with a copy of the ticket. The bounced email was to an email address that does not appear anywhere (databases, text files, etc.) on our server. I thought maybe the client had put in their email address incorrectly or they had logged in and changed it while I was responding, but this was not the case.

Today the exact same thing happened again but the bounced email was to a different email address that was again not that of the client who submitted the ticket but was the email address of completely different client on that server.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Is the Plesk Help Desk code being used as a sort of relay like the problem with old versions of formmail.pl from Matt's CGI archive?
