  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi, Im running
Your OS version Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS
Plesk version 18.0.44

where Watchdog is not supported.

As I had for days and maybe week, Fail2Ban that was broken, not running,
could someone help me to create a script to check the Fail2ban service and to be notified by email if the service is not running?

I was discovering that Fail2Ban was not active from the Plesk home where IP banning was turned off due to a fil2ban error.
Thanks in advance.

My discussion where this request burn: Resolved - IP Address Banning, cannot turn on
