Horde issue with plesk 9.5.2

Warning: after running the Plesk 9.5.2 updates, many messages do not open when using Horde.

I upgraded multiple servers to 9.5.2 and now when I go to horde in the browser (I have tried several browsers), the messages do not open when clicking on the message. Some messages do open but most do not. Some do open and then when I click delete, it seems to delete the message, but the message stays on the screen and it does not go to the next message. Basically, horde acts flaky.

I am running the same on all 3 servers and all 3 show the same issue.

Do you have any related errors in /var/log/psa-horde/psa-horde.log ?

I will post the latest log info, both before and after the issue started.
I ran the updates and started having the issue on June 25.

I can only suggest you try to remove all horde related packages and install it back with autoinstaller. If you need deep investigation of this problem - please contact support team.

What is the cause

This sounds like you do not know what the problem is. What caused this to happen, does any one know. Are others seeing the same thing?

Will 9.5.3 fix this? Is this being worked on?

hi bradz,

i got the same error on ubuntu 8.04LTS with Plesk 9.5.2
the problem occured after setting up many customers to fcgi.
I found the problem in a bug in the libc-client2007 from uw-imap which is used by php5-imap module.
I downloaded the sources, patched it and build up a new .deb. after that, the error disappeared.

What system do you running? if you need help on patching the libc-client2007, drop me aline.

Options and what I have learned so far

I have researched the issue more, and have noticed a few things.
1st, the secureserver/godaddy options for dedicated servers has changed. Plesk is not a normal offer for Fedora (must be a reason).
2nd, Plesk offers the option of ATmail.
Since I have not found a solution for this issue which may be a combination of factors involving Plesk/Horde/Fedora I am making a few changes. I will now utilize the ATmail for clients, which is working fine AND I will try the centos/plesk server option now offered.
This is just my take and I very much welcome others.

This solution is OK for me:

echo "export USE_ZEND_ALLOC=0" >> /etc/sysconfig/httpd
service httpd restart

If don't work, try disable ionCube:

/etc/php.d/ioncube-loader-5.2.ini.disable
service httpd restart
