Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.
I’ve resolved to change my current osCommerce shopping cart to Magento. But the procedure itself seems rather scary. How long does it take? Cause I don’t wanna stop the work of my online store for a long time.
A few questions: What version of OSCommerce are you on?
How many skus, orders, customers do you have?
How many extensions/plugins do you use?
What payment providers and shippers do you use?
Do you have a straight forward tax rate policy?
Do you integrate with any 3rd party CRM/ERP/OMS/etc?
Do you have a custom frontend theme that you want to carry over?
The answers to these questions will help formulate a plan for either a migration or a replatform. Sometimes it’s easier starting from scratch if you want a redesign and to leverage new features.
