How do i create clients for 2 customers with the same name?

I am creating client accounts for my customers but for some reason i dont understand pname is marked as unique.
This means i cannot have 2 customers named John Smith in my system since the second guy cannot register.
This seems abit silly to me i dont see any point in pname being unique.

How do i solve this so i can have 2 customers named John Smith?

Does anyone have a fix for this I am having the same problem during migration here is the error:

Failed deployment of webuser user1 (domain site.org)

Execution of /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/api-cli/webuser.php --create user1 -domain site.org -passwd failed with return code 1.
Stderr is
Unable to create web user: User user1 already exists.
