How do I move mail from one var/qmail/mailnames/X to another?

How do I move mail from one var/qmail/mailnames/X to another? I tried it and the mail does not show in the account I copies it too.

Any Ideas Why This Would Not Work?

ensure you chown the files back to the correct owner, if you copied them as root they are liable to be root owned and unreadable.

on freebsd they should be popuseropuser owned.
