how do i restore 8.0 domains in a 8.1.1 server

Hi,

I wonder if it's possible to restore a backup of 8.0 domains to a new 8.1.1 server. And if so, how can I do it? Do I need a 3rd party software or the default backup/restore utility will fit my needs?

Don't mix versions using the backup dumps. You can migrate data from one version to another using the Migration Manager.

Actually, it seems to be the easiest way to do it ;-). I don't have to re-create the wheel!
But I have one more question : if I migrate individuals user accounts with its domains and web sites form server1(8.0) to server2(8.1.1), will server1 datas be disabled or even deleted? Or will they be functionnal?
I looked into admin guide but still didn't find an answer.

Nothing will be deleted or disabled on the old server.
