• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Anyone notice this line from their email announcement:
Please note, this release is recommended for clean servers
So.........SWsoft do not recommend upgrading!

Where ?

I dont see that on release notes.
At least for CentOS 4.2

So why is my updater showing 8.1.0 as upgrade?
Btw, what really sucks is that 8.0.1 still got that vulnerable ProFTPd which is only fixed in Plesk 8.1!

I'm sure you can update ok but I wonder why they make that statement?

i just read you can upgrade from plesk 7.5.4 and 8.0, but not from earlier plesks...

I'm going to email to SWsoft about this, they should release a ProFTPd patch for Plesk 7.4 and 8.0 too!

You should email them also, the more the better!

Thanks.
