• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How to attach Plesk server to Expand

PaddingtonC

Basic Pleskian
I have a server running Plesk 8.6 which I need to get rid off. The reason is the drive on that old server is corrupt such that no backups are running at present. I have set up a new server with Plesk 9.5 but am unable to copy data from the old server to the new one. The Plesk 8.6 server is part on an expand hierarchy and I am considering manually creating the domains and then de-attaching the old server from expand, then attach the new one. I cannot upgrade my current server because if anything breaks I do not have backups. This is very urgent that I migrate to a new server.

My question is will expand accept these manually created domains since the old server was part of the expand hierarchy?

How else can I migrate the data across? Any advise is welcome.
