Question How to change 'innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit'

omexlu

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

Is it possible to set 'innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit' to the value '2' within the panel?

What is the best way to do this?

Hi,

Can't this be set via the GUI of the panel?

Must this be done manually in the configurations?

Ok, thank you.

Can you maybe say me where i can find the configuration file to put it on?
innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit=2

And must i restart the mysql-server? For this i haven't an option under plesk to restart it.

Thank you very much.

1. Open the /etc/mysql/my.cnf (location of my.cnf can be different, it depends on your OS ) file with any text editor.
2. Specify the innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit=2 under [mysqld] section.
3. Save changes in a text document.
4. Restart the MySQL service to apply the changes with the command:

# service mysql restart
