  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue How to change php setting for all customers in Plesk onyx

Amar

New Pleskian
Hi,

We are using plesk onyx in our environment. At present customers are not able to change the php version from Hosting or php settings. but the same can be done through administrator.

Further checking it was found we can customize this from Tools and settings, so i did it and now its available. but the problem here is this setting is applied for all the new customers and not all ones. they still didn't got the option to change the php setting. and its not possible to manually go to each subscription and change the setting from admin panel as we have 500+ subscriptions.

Kindly guide me on this, like how to set the setting globally for all new + old customers present in plesk

Hi Amar,

pls. note that permissions setup at your depending service plan may restrict the availability for domain/subscription users to change/modify/edit their PHP Settings. In addition, you should be aware, that
Inheriting PHP settings
is documented at the official Plesk documentation:

Pls. have as well a closer look at the detailed official Plesk documentation:

... where you are able to inform yourself about hosting plans and subscriptions.

If you need help here, pls. don't forget to provide the actual used Plesk version ( incl. #MU ) and pls. try to provide detailed informations about the current settings ( service plan / hosting plan / subscription / unqiue domain settings ) and as well, WHAT you are trying to change and how you tried to reach your goal.
