• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue How to change / update the installation directory of the phpBB script in Plesk?

New Pleskian
hello, gentlemen (and ladies too). I have a small question. I installed phpBB using the application manager in Plesk in the root folder of the domain (httpdocs). After some time, I decided that it was not the best decision, so I moved the entire page files manually to the subdirectory (httpdocs / forum). The forum script works correctly, you can log in and post messages on the forum and everything works. However, I now have a problem with the application manager in Plesk - I can not manage this phpBB installation and update it using the option built in in Plesk. How to change / update the installation directory of the phpBB script in Plesk so that you can manage it with Plesk? I apologize in advance for minor language mistakes in this message - I am Polish and my English is not as good as it should be :-(

I would dump the data with phpbb built-in tools, reinstall it to the desired directory and then restore the dump to a new phpbb installation.
