• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How to configure dns for subdomain?

Hans11

New Pleskian
Hi,

I encounter a problem while setting up a subdomain in plesk 11. I can create a subdomain and I also can upload files files to it. The site preview mode is also working, but when I use my browser to browse to the subdomain I got an error that says "server not found".

By default the dns zone for the domain is in master mode. The dns zone for the subdomain is turned off by default. The DNS records of this subdomain are stored in the parent DNS zone

These settings do not work. I have create a seperate dns zone for the subdomain, But also this does not solve the problem.

Does anybody recognized this problem and can anybody tell me what to do?

Thanks a lot,
Hans

What do you get when you run an A record check for the subdomain in mxtoolbox.com?

Also, have you tried running the following to reconfigure vhosts.

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmningg --reconfigure-all
