• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How to emails from the queue after a few days

Regular Pleskian
Hello,
I am running Qmail in a Red Hat ES 3.0 box. While checking the queue in the Qmail, I can see that there are lot of emails which are undelivered but still in the queue. Some of the emails are older than 7 days. I want to know how can I delete emails from the queue if they are older than a few days. For example, if an email is in the queue for 3 days or more, it should get deleted automatically. Kindly help me with this.

The default is approx. 7 days. If you want the mail to be dumped quicker, then create a file called queuelifetime in the /var/qmail/control folder and inside of it set the queue lifetime in seconds (4 days = 345600, for example).
