How to enable SSL on any directory

Is there a way to enable SSL for a particular folder just by making changes in the vhost.conf file?

I am not talking about making every folder under the httpsdocs folder an SSL folder.

I am talking about making a particular Alias or Location SSL enabled.

Is this possible?

This is not possible, at most you can simlink the directory to httpsdocs and access the directory using https. Make sure that your apache configuration allows simlinks.

You should delete httpdsdoc directory and create a symbolic link

ln -s httpdocs httpsdocs

Do not forget owner for httpsdocs. It has to be same as for httpdocs.
