  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How to run the Updater over a proxy

I have installed Plesk 8.01 on a debian sarge box. Now I need to make all outbound connections to go over http-proxy .
I was ablo to run the auto-installer since it uses debians apt and that is aware of the proxy. But I am unable to get the Plesk GUI Updater to use a proxy.

Any hints or pointers would be highly appreciated.
