• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to stop completly Plesk updates?

New Pleskian
Hi, I already through my Plesk panel had disable the update, yet critical updates are still updating, and those somehow (not being the first time) are messing up with my server, I want to disable them completely so I only update them when I want and not automaticaly, how can I do that? I have Plesk 11 and in CentOS, if you could give me a step by step guide it would be nice since I'm more used to Ubuntu. Again thank you so much.

Try to firewall port 8447 and autoinstall.plesk.com and autoinstall.parallels.com hostnames at least. Then disable these firewall rules when you want install updates manually.

I had and have the same problem i have managed to solve on my windows 2008r2 plesk12 installation all the issues i had and today everything was hang and all my services stopped..due an update! The only way to stop it was to block the firewall but this is not a proper solution because maybe the update processes will fall in a loop seeking for a way out i dont know? Any other idea or cmd command maybe would solve our problems or someone to add a check box so that w could be able to disable them on the next update?
