howto set up a secondary mailserver?

Anybody an idea how to set up a real secondary (plesk) mailserver?

is there any software or how is the strategie? rsync?

I don't want to have only a backup, I think about how to install a secondary mailserver with (automatically) all the clients and emailadresses from the primary one.
