• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved I can not change the user's password

Faris

New Pleskian
Hi, I am unable to change the password of user faris_aga with plesk 12 which we use in virtual server.

If the error is ...:

Error: The following system user attributes were not changed: passwd (Unable to execute usermng: Empty input path: (87) The parameter is incorrect. at execute console command --set-password(vconsoleapp::start line 100) at execute "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\usermng.exe" --set-password "--name=faris_aga" "--password=*"(vconsoleapp::run line 117) (Error code 1))

Note: User is (faris_aga) not admin.

My solution:

* All files of the corresponding domain name have been backed up.
* The corresponding domain name has been deleted from PleskPanel.
* User (faris_aga) Windows OS has been deleted.
* The domain name was rebuilt with PleskPanel.
* A new user has been created for the domain name.
* Replicas have been copied to the directory of the domain name.
