I want rblsmtpd to log !! How can i ?

Hi,

I want to see blocked e-mail by rblsmtpd in my maillog file. But there doesn't seem to be an option for this.

I read about adding '-v' after 'rblsmtpd' in smtp(s)_psa .. But this is not supported (anymore?) in the Plesk version of rblsmtpd.

Please help.

(Ooh .. i also read about patching and recompiling some files .. that is not an option for me .. i like to keep things original).

You can try the instructions in this old post from way back...

Make sure to backup all files which need to be changed *before* installing the mods to rblsmtp in case something doesn't work after.

If it works, please post here to let others know.

Thanks .. but as i said .. i do not like to go that way. But i think there is no alternative ... besides patching , rebuilding the whole stuff.

Ah, sorry. I guess I missed reading that line in your post.... To my knowledge, there is no way to get the standard rblsmtpd module to log.
