i have a pretty good customized installation of UebiMiau that i'd like to add to the server as an alternative to Horde.

i do NOT want to replace Horde. i would simply like to have it as an alternative available at http://email.domain.com

is there anyone who can provide a tutorial to do this?

i realize that this question has been asked before, but the answers have been so vague. "Edit the httpd.include" file doesn't really tell me anything.

Do you want this at email.every-domain-on-your-server?

    You could add something like:

    Alias /email /path/to/webmail2/
    Alias /email/ /path/to/webmail2/

    ... to /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf ... this would produce...

    www.any-domain.com/email/
    and
    www.any-domain.com/email

... would show the content of /path/to/webmail2/
