IMAP Shared Folders

I read a previous post which said it is possible to create an IMAP shared folder by creating a folder prefixed by 'shared.' which I did via horde with a mail user on the domain for which I wish to create a shared folder.

The folder, however, is not working in the way I expected.. Indeed it does not work at all even as a folder for the regular user. My first thought was that the syntax was incorrect, but after reading the documents for courier-IMAP I am wondering if its a matter of the shared folder index file.

The question them becomes: does Plesk automatically create/update the index file? If so, how often and what process is it that does this. If not, what types of solutions have others used to implement this?

Thanks in advance,
Drew
