• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Import of Service Plans fails for Resellers

Hangover2

Regular Pleskian
Server operating system version
Debian 12
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.79 Update #4
Hello,

we are suddenly unable to import service plans. The reseller account has all available permissions enabled on its reseller service plan.

When we try to import hosting plans, we get the following error:

Code:
Failed to import the service plan.: Failed to create hosting plan.: Permission denied.

Are we missing something here?
Thanks in advance for your help!

If you have the "Hosting settings management" and "Common PHP settings management" permissions in the reseller plan enabled, there shouldn't be an issue. Could you please double-check if the reseller is by any chance locked and unsynced with the plan? If not, please try to temporarily changing the reseller service plan and confirm if that makes any difference.

Thank you for the confirmation. Could you please try temporarily changing the reseller service plan and confirm if that makes any difference? If you still have the "Default Reseller" plan, please assign it, if possible.

Changing the reseller service plans did not help. Same issue as before. Creating a new hosting plan works, importing it fails.

Thanks. I am not sure what else could be causing the issue. Please enable Plesk debug mode and double-check if any more verbose errors are being logged.
