• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Dear Plesk users,

In a continuing effort to improve our service, we are planning to change IP addresses for our licensing server, Parallels Key Administrator (ka.parallels.com) as follows:

· IPv4: 77.245.23.80 -> 195.214.233.80

· IPv6: 2001:4168:1236::80 -> 2001:67c:730::80

These changes will take effect on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 08:00 UTC.

Connection to ka.parallels.com is required for all servers that run:

· Parallels products – they connect to ka.parallels.com to activate and update the license

· Business automation systems integrated with Parallels Key Administrator – they connect to ka.parallels.com to call the KA Partner API

If any of these servers are behind a firewall and old IP addresses of Parallels Key Administrator are listed in the firewall rules, please add new IP addresses of Parallels Key Administrator to the firewall rules before December 1st. This will allow your servers to continue to connect to ka.parallels.com after it starts resolving to new IP addresses.
