• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

Is there any way to install nginx over SSH on a Plesk Onyx Server? without using the plesk installer interface.
I trying to finish a bash script that should perform the installation and activation of nginx, so it can then perform also some other installs and configurations.

any idea?

did try to install sw-nginx and nginx over apt-get but with that plesk seems not to recognize that it is there.

thank you
Martin

thanks that is what i was searching for ;)

Code:
# plesk installer list PLESK_17_8_11 --components

shows me:

nginx [install] - Nginx web server

but then

Code:
# plesk installer add PLESK_17_8_11 --components nginx

does not allow it

ERROR: Only the product ID selector is allowed for the 'add' command.

did I miss there something?

Thank you for the help

Use command

# plesk installer --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --install-component nginx
