Installing 9.0 Backup und 8.6

Hello,

were moving a site from a server with Plesk 9.0 installed to a site with Plesk 8.6 installed.
I've tried to export the backup from 9.0, uploaded it in Plesk 8.6 and he doesn't recognize the
File as a Backup File. I googled and searched the forum for a solution and found the backup
converter utility tool, but it seems to me that this tool only works in one direction:Old Format -> new Format

Now im looking for a tool for the other way round. Did anybody have the same problem? Are there other workarounds?

Unfortunately there is no possibility to convert new backup format to old. Therefore I can suggest you just upgrade old Plesk to the same version and perform migration after that.
