Installing ColdFusin 6.1 after Plesk is installed

I have a dedicated server with serverbeach. They handel all of the initial installs of the os and Plesk.

I have a Win2k3 box with Plesk 7 and ColdFusion and MSSQL Support installed.

My problem is they already installed Plesk so from all the posts I have read it says that I need to install ColdFusins first then Plesk.

Well I can't do that. Unless there is a way to get them to give me the liscense for Plesk and let me uninstall it then reinstall it witch I doubt will happen.

So I am looking for any suggestions for this issue.

My second problem sould probably be in another post but it is about the MSDE database. Now I use MSDE just like I would MSSQL but without the cost. Now I see that Plesk has installes MSSQL. Or at least that is what I gather from other posts I have read.

Now at my dedicated server host they block port 1433 and 1434 which are the default MSSQL ports. First question is, is the MSSQL that installs with Plesk 7 MSDE. And second will changing the default ports to some that my host hasn't blocked cause problems in Plesk.

Thanks in advance. Sorry for being so long winded.

I am in the same boat. I have a W2k3 server w/ Plesk loaded by my dedicated host, and I bought the Plesk Power Pack because of teh ColdFusion support. I can't even install ColdFusion to make use of it!

Help!!!

I installed Coldfusion after plesk was already installed and everything works perfectly.

Henry
