Question Installing PostgreSQL on Windows OS

Hi Pleskians,

Please share the steps/process on how to install PostgreSQL on Windows OS and add it to the Plesk?
Because, in the Plesk Product Components, PostgreSQL isn't available for Windows OS as compared to Linux OS.

Also, would we be able to manage the PostgreSQL from the Plesk panel like: Backups, restore, accessing its DBs from pgAdmin etc.?

P.S. I noticed the following option available on the Windows Plesk Server, please elaborate more as per my question above.

On Windows Plesk only supports remote PostgreSQL servers. See list of supported Third-Party components for Plesk here.

Which means you can setup a separate (remote) server with PostgreSQL and connect that PostgreSQL server to your Plesk server.
