Invalid security certificate error in FF

Hi All

I'm very new to servers, and my client has noticed that their site is getting an "invalid security certificate" message in FF when they try to access it with https instead of http. I don't know why anyone would want to access their site by https, but just in case they do, I'd like to be able to remove the error. Here's what I get when I try to do the same:

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to sitename.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely,
sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

Below that there are Technical Details:

sitename.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
The certificate is only valid for plesk

(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

Any ideas how to fix this? Am I asking this in the right forum, or should I be in the Parallels forum?

Thanks loads for any help!

Ah - I hadn't realised that you had to buy SSL certificates. We can probably ignore this then. Thanks for your help
