Hi,
We have a problem with mailing lists, whenever a user sends out a mass email to 1000+ email addresses, quite often we get bouncebacks indicating that to many connections have been made to the hotmail servers. We have our concurrentremote set to 30 in /var/qmail/control, the issue is if we lower this to say 5 delivered mail will become delayed.
Has anyone else experienced this? Quite a few of the larger email providers are limiting the amount of connections, so if you try and send an email to 200 hotmail addresses at once chances are half of them will bounce back.
thanks
Stephen
