• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

License Automation with API

New Pleskian
I am trying to find documentation on how to automate licensing using an API but I am unable to find any on http://www.parallels.com/ptn

I do not know how the API works nor what to do once I am able to download it. Any guidance would be very helpful.

Thanks!

API can be used by XML requests as it is described in documentation. I do not understand what you want to download?

Is this the API I should be looking at http://www.parallels.com/ptn/documentation/ka/ ?

Maybe I should explain my environment to make it easier to understand.

Basically we have a web-based control panel where end users can create their own servers. We are trying to provide Plesk as a template they can deploy but do not know how we can automate the licensing. As I am really new to Parallel products I need a bit of guidance.

In order to automate licensing what exactly is needed? Only the API and becoming a partner? or do i have to buy PBAS in addition. Remember we do not need automation of creating servers, just licensing for plesk on the server.

Hope that makes sense...

Thank you very much for your help!

Could you please clarify what do you mean "automate the licensing" in Plesk environment? What do you mean when you say "automate the licensing by Plesk API"?
Did you read Plesk API documentation?
Briefly it works like this - you create XML request (there are a lot of different examples in documentation) and send it to Plesk by some perl or php script, for example. That's all.
