TwitterPlesk was upgraded from 10.0.1 to 12.0.18 using autoinstaller on RHEL 5.5. Installation was restarted number of times to troubleshoot various problems:
- installing missing dependencies with up2date
- GPG key for atomic repository was re imported
- mysqld did not restart because of unsupported keyword in my.conf. Mysql was restarted manually
- psadm user was added to Lock_manager Group manually
At the end installation finished well and psa service was restarted.
On login attemp we could login but it was complaining that license is invalid because was generated for older version of the product. Following kb121699 /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/functions.php was replaced with new copy from attached to the kb file. That did not really help but just changed the error a bit. The error looks like this:
Error: The license key is invalid. In order to use Plesk, please obtain and install a new valid license key.
You are trying to use license key created for another version of Parallels Plesk. Contact Parallels sales representatives to obtain the proper license key.
Before changing functions.php, the error was also saying that the host has X domains out of 0. That part of the error is gone now.
We tried also clicking on "Retrieve Keys". That also fails with the error:
ERROR: SB_Facade_Exception_Generic
Undefined property "isPublished" in object "SB_Site".
Additionally to that, due to the bad license we cannot open a ticket via plesk control panel. When we try to open a ticket via Plesk Support webpage we get an error saying invalid license. The license was working fine just before the upgrade.
We are out of ideas. How to proceed from here. Any ideas?
