• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

License problems on a restored Virtual Machine

Statheiro

New Pleskian
I am experiencing some problems with my Plesk License when I restore a VM on a previous state.

What I am trying to do, is roll back a Virtual Machine on the server and restore Plesk Backup files there in order to further backup my data.

But the system won't let me do it, because it says that my Plesk License has expired and that I need to provide a valid license in order to restore a backup.

What is the standard on situations like this? Do Plesk provide a license key in order to complete that kind of restoration ?

Thank you.

Further info: trying to roll 3 months back - my Plesk License has monthly validation, obviously there's a conflict..
