• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Log Rotation Problems

Hello,

I am having a problem using Log Rotation on my Plesk box. I have all my domains set up to use Log Roation in the PSA interface. They are all set to rotate the logs monthly. However, none of the domains are rotating the log files monthly. It looks like they are rotating the log files every day. The access_log.processed changes daily and the last modification date is 4:07 every day. I looked at my Crontab and noticed that the statistics cron job is set to run at that exact time every day. Why aren't my log files rotating monthly like in the interface. I checked all the logrotate settings and it all looks normal. Should the statistics cron job run every day or every month if I want the logs rotated monthly?

It used to work and I've never had to change any of these settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Omar

Anyone have any ideas about this?

Plesk hasn't been able to help me yet.
