• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Lets say I have a hotmail.com-account at Hotmail and I want to make a domain on my Plesk server called hotmail.com

If I use webmail or or php-mail() on that server and I send a message to [email protected], the mail is not delivered to my real hotmail-account, but to my fake-plesk-hotmailaccount.

On one of our Plesk 8.1.1. servers I disabled (turned off) the mail for hotmail.com-account and than it worked properly. (The mail is send to the real-hotmail.com)

If I try this with our Plesk 8.2 server, the mail is unfortunately NOT send to my real hotmail.

(of course, this 'hotmail' is an example. We accually preparing a new account on a new server for a migration, but want to test the php-mail() function)
