Everything looks fine. Memcached appears in php.info

and

root@ :~# /opt/plesk/php/7.2/bin/php -i | grep "memcached support"
memcached support => enabled

but the file (/etc/sysconfig/memcached) does not exit in (/etc/sysconfig/).

Any idea to solve this issue ?

Regards,

Nicolas

/etc/sysconfig is mostly used by Redhat-based systems such as RHEL/Fedora/CentOS.
You are on Debian 9, so you should have a /etc/memcached.conf and/or /etc/default/memcached

Hello Monty the Cat,

Neither (/etc/memcached.conf ; /etc/default/memcached). Do you think that should try a reinstallation of memcached ?

Ah wait, you probaby only installed the memcached PHP extension. You'll also need the memcached package (the actual memcached server) for your system.

This should do the trick:
# apt install memcached

You already installed the PECL memcached package, so no need to install it again. Now you're missing the memcached server, this one must be installed with apt.

There are two components in a memcached setup: The memcached client (in this case PHP, using the PECL package) and the memcached server (where the client is connecting to to store the data in the cache).
