  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Managing multiple plesk servers without using expand

I have been using plesk for some time now and have grown to the point of requiring another server, redundancy is also a requirement in the form of a secondary DNS server and centralised mail server.

Problem I have is I am sick and tired of coughing up money for each module, I currently pay for 2x plesk licenses, 2x power packs and to manage the servers centrally I now have to pay for plesk expand then the C-mail license etc etc. I understand it costs money to develop these products but seriously?

I am not sure why the expand product doesn't give you a limit of at least 2 servers for free and after that you pay for anymore you add, this is really pushing me to switch back to cpanel where all I have to do for a secondary DNS server is select from a drop down menu.

cheers
Jason
