• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Please I am trying to migrate my wordpress website to a server (Plesk) the server is using the database engine (MariaDB 10.3.29) and my website is runing on database engine (MySQL 5.7.30). I am using a migration plugin called Duplicator pro. When I am trying to migrate, I receive an error notice ("The current database engine is [MariaDB 10.3.29] while the host database engine was [MySQL 5.7.30]") An after the migration the website loads till infinity.
What should I do in this case?

Yes, but it is not working. When I contacted my host where the old files are, they said it won't work because plesk does no have root access.

The Site Import extension should work regardless regardless whether or not you have root access. It's not required.

Can you still access your old host via FTP manually? e.g via an FTP client like FileZilla?
