Migration 120 domains

Hello

I have the following scenario.

Server with Plesk 7.6 Windows with 120 domains hosted

And I need to migrate these 120 domains to another server with Plesk relase 8.x Windows

What is the easiest way to make this migration?

hello!

You could use Plesk migration Manager to migrate domains to the new Plesk installaion. (http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/Plesk8.2/Doc/plesk-win-pmm-guide/index.htm, http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/Plesk8.2/Doc/plesk-win-pmm-guide/14184.htm )

You could use usual Plesk backup restore also.

Unfortunately, Plesk migration manager for Plesk 8.3 is not ready at this moment ( http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?t=50138 )

after de instalation of the Installing Migration Manager, and Installing Migration Agent it´s necessary reboot???

how many reboot´s is necessary to perform the total instalation of solution, Migration Manager, Migration Agent and configuration of server?

Hello,
There is no need to reboot after PMM and PMA installation. But i'd recommend you to use Plesk Backup/Restore utilities to perform usual domain migration from earlier Plesk for Windows versions.

hello thunderdoom , i'm about to perform a similar migration myself on my plesk 7.5.6 server.

how did your migration go? which method did you choose (plesk backup or migration manager)? any issues or problems?
