• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

migration error client does not exist

When trying PMM to move a domain from another plesk server, the process goes fine and even gives me a success message at the end. However the domain does not get listed afterwards, and the message on the success page says:

"Client does not exist but is expected to" .

This is nonsense as i chose the client to move the domain to out of the list plesk provided. Moreover when i emailed plesk to ask them , they suggested i create the client, even though i made it clear the client existed already.

Anyone know why and how to solve this error and migrate the domain?

You'll have better luck if you migrate it manually.

I have been told by my hosting provider, which is one of SWSoft's biggest customers, that PMM doesn't work.

I tried migrating several domains with PMM, but the only thing it did was move the files over. It didn't migrate email accounts, databases, or anything else.
