Migration manager gives false positive

Hi

Well Plesk 8 looks great.

Unfortuately when I try to migrate my data wit PMM, it merrily does so, but it takes around 2 seconds to complete and makes no dump.xml file. It is indicating to me that all is successfull, but when I go to import the data it has migrated the manager complains that no dump.xml file exists.

Now I am lost, I know that PMM communicating with my hosting server as when I put a wrong password in, it tells me.

I am not sure where to go from here, has anyone any advice they offer whilst I trawl the forums for any nuggets of knowledge that I may find.
