• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Input Migration tool and changing the domain IP at Source server

Wish: Couldn't the migration tool optionally change the DNS settings of the domain at the SENDING server? Would be great if all the 'A' records of a domain could be changed at the source domain automatically to point to the destination server?
After all, after migration, these DNS entries are going to need to be changed, and before the migration is complete, you don't want to change the IP addresses of your DNS servers, because that's going to affect everyone; even those that have not been migrated yet.

Even better: The migration tool could allow us to specify the TEMPLATE to use at the source server once a migration a domain finishes.
Once a domain is transferred to the new server, the IP at the source server could be updated automatically. saving us lots of grief.
