• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Migration - Windows - Unix

Hello, next month i will change my server-Os from Windows 2003 Enterprise to Debian 3.1 (no reinstall, complete new server).

Now i want to migrate my Windows-Settings, domains etc.

I have here a Test-Server with Plesk 7.5 Reloaded.

I start at Windows-Plesk 7.6.5 and go to the Migration-Manager. Fill out the form with the administrator plesk data and as os-type select unix.

I get the connection and i can select the one domain etc.

If i use the Migration manager from the Linux-Plesk. I cant get any connection --> Failed to upload the migration agent
Cannot send scout to the remote host
Lost connection with the remote host.

I used the Administrator-Account and my "root"-Domainname.

Where is my mistake?

Sorry about my bad English

Ok, with the Port it works little bit better:
Retrieving information on the host 62.141.60.***:6489

Retrieving information on the host 62.141.60.*** is in process

But after 2 hours, the same message :(
