Moving vhosts directory via command line?

Is there a way to change the default vhosts directory via the command line (without needing to use the Reconfigurator GUI)?

For example, what if I wanted to move c:\inetpub\vhosts to d:\vhosts via command line...is this possible, and how would I do it?
