MySQL and PHP Updates?

Hello.

I've PLESK 8.1.1 on my root server.
Is there an Update for MySQL and PHP?
I need PHP5 and MySQL 4! The mysql and php version of plesk 8.1.1 are very old, but i cant find any updates.

Its your OS and nothing to do with Plesk. I would suggest looking at atomicrocketturtle.com he has plesk compatable repos online.

Should I use the update-function of my OS or could I use Plesk's Application Vault to upload and execute the .rmp-files for php and mysql?

You cant access OS updates through the PSA updater at this time, the only way to do it is through yum.

On that note, PHP 5.2.2 and Mysql 5.0.27 are out of testing, and are available in the [atomic] channel.

It's Suse 9.3. I managed to compile MySQL und PHP under it, and I'm just working on apache.
