As the subject says....
To gain remote access I want to change the GRANT tables. When (with putty) I want to run mysql to make the necessary change, I run into a very annoying problem: bash says it doesnt know mysql?? More correctly, I enter 'mysql' (with or without -u, -p etc.), and I get back a '-bash: mysql: command not found'.
I know something must be wrong...
Could you tell me:
1. Is this in any way normal behaviour?
2. Is it correct that mysql is hiding in /usr/local/psa/mysql/bin ?
3. What can I do to solve tis (very annoying) problem?
Oh, both as the 'admin' user and as 'root'.
Apart from this the server is running normal, so no problems from that angle. I just would like to be able to connect remote, and, apart from that, think it should not be doing this.
