  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved mysql.domain.com and mail.domain.com does not connect to ASP script

New Pleskian
Hi all,

I am trying to connect the MysqL server and the mail server through an ASP script, however it returns error.

if I change the mysql.domain.com servers to localhost or address IP and mail.domain.com to localhost or address IP, it works perfect.

Was there anything I could do to run the server?

Below is a script for connecting to the MySQL server:

Code:
server = "mysql.domain.com"
bd = "test"
user_bd = "test"
password_bd = "123456"

Set conect = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
conect.Open "Driver={MySQL ODBC 5.3 ANSI Driver}; SERVER="&server&"; DATABASE="&bd&"; USER="&user_bd&"; PASSWORD="&password_bd&" "

MySQL script error:

Code:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[MySQL][ODBC 5.3(a) Driver]Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql.domain.com' (2)

Below E-mail Script:

Code:
            Set objCDOSYSMail = Server.CreateObject("CDO.Message")

            Set objCDOSYSCon = Server.CreateObject ("CDO.Configuration")

            objCDOSYSCon.Fields("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver") = "mail.domain.com"

            objCDOSYSCon.Fields("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserverport") = "587"

            objCDOSYSCon.Fields.Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpusessl") = False

            objCDOSYSCon.Fields("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 2

            objCDOSYSCon.Fields("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpauthenticate") = 1

            objCDOSYSCon.Fields("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendpassword") = "123456"

            objCDOSYSCon.Fields("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpconnectiontimeout") = 30

            objCDOSYSCon.Fields.update
            Set objCDOSYSMail.Configuration = objCDOSYSCon

            objCDOSYSMail.From = "[email protected]"

            objCDOSYSMail.To = "[email protected]"

            objCDOSYSMail.Subject = "Subject"

            objCDOSYSMail.TextBody = "Message"

            objCDOSYSMail.Send

            Set objCDOSYSMail = Nothing
            Set objCDOSYSCon = Nothing
